Employers, Agencies & Placement Services

Alliance Abroad - Spend a minimum of one semester teaching English at a Chinese university. A Bachelor's degree and teaching certificate are helpful but not required. Teach in China programme participants receive approx 4000 RMB per month plus free accommodation in jobs throughout China. You must be a native English speaker.

American Educational Services - An American managed organization of schools. Not a recruiting agency, AES have been managing schools in China since 1996. Current AES schools are in Dalian, Shenyang, Jinan, Qingdao, Xi'An, ChangChun, Tangshan, Guiyang, and DanDong.

American International Education Foundation - A non profit organization, dedicated to promoting American education abroad. The English Teacher Placement program is coordinated between in California and places teachers in accredited schools in China.

Appalachians Abroad Teach in China - The Appalachians Abroad Teach in China Program (AATC) is an exciting opportunity for qualified individuals to teach or study in China. Founded in 1995, AATC is a non profit program designed to build educational and business relationships between the Appalachian region and China. The program is a part of the Center for International Programs at Marshall University, in Huntington, West Virginia. Though focused on the Appalachia region, the program is open to individuals from all across the U.S. and Canada who have the qualifications and desire to be a teacher and "goodwill ambassador".

Aston English - Has nearly 50 schools across China and have employed over 1000 foreign teachers since it started in 1996. China International Education Research Center - Located in Beijing, China IERC is an official department authorized by the Chinese Ministry of Education, placing qualified foreign teachers to pilot schools to accelerate the learning and English speaking ability of Chinese students.

Colarado China Council - Founded in 1977, the Colorado China Council (CCC) is a non-political, educational outreach organization dedicated to developing programs to deepen the American public's understanding and appreciation of China's history, culture and contemporary life. Colorado China Council does this by sending people to China for either a month in the summer, or a semester or a full year to teach English at Chinese universities. As teachers they will also share American history and culture with their Chinese students.

Council Exchanges - CIEE will place you as an English speaking teacher in a Chinese school for 5 or 10 months, whichever you prefer. You will be paid a local salary, receive free furnished accommodations and most utilities will be provided by your host institution.

Delter International Business Institute - An international business institute in China created to teach and train Chinese students for management with western style procedures. Increasing expansion means they are looking for experienced skilled and qualified teachers.

Beijing Hutong School - The Hutong School organizes internships in combination with Chinese classes for students on gap years, graduates and young professionals who want to gain working and living experience in China.

Christina Noble Children's Foundation - CNCF helps children in need in Mongolia with education, medical care, social opportunities, and job placement. Experienced volunteers over the age of 21 and able to stay for three months are accepted. Volunteers must be entirely self funded. CNCF also operates in Vietnam.

CnAdventure.com - Offers tours in China including the Student Travel Educational Program designed for people who are interested in Chinese language and culture by providing an educational tour that consists of rugged and adventurous travel, community service, culture exchange, home stay and language leaning.

Getin2china - Varied internship programmes, Chinese lessons, courses and tours.

Global Volunteer Network - A non profit organisation. GVN place people in community projects in China, Ecuador, Ghana, Nepal and Romania.
