Worked
Abroad? Write for the Overseas Job Centre
If
you have worked abroad, we would like to hear about
it. We are always looking for content for the Overseas Job Centre,
from short tips and news to full length features. We
don't offer any payment but if you have your own site
or page, we'll link to it from your piece.
ARTICLES
There's
a kick to be had from seeing your name in print. Don't
worry if you haven't been published before, the Overseas Job Centre
will provide your first byline if you can give others
the feel of an overseas job hunt, the daily routine
of a ski bum or of being down and out in London and
Paris.
We are most keen to read first hand experiences - high
and low - of the type of work we cover on this site.
A good article should include details such as who you
worked for, wages, accommodation, the price of a beer
etc, but don't get too lost in facts and figures. Also
we are pleased to read travel features. Again, we ask
for details as much as travelogue.
Articles should be no longer than 1000 words and will
appear in The Working Traveller or another part of the
site.
