Beginning
life as MBA homework, the first Frog Pub introduced warm
flat beer to Parisians ten years ago and, thanks to the
tastebuds of expats and tourists, Frog Pubs now own and
manage six English pub restaurants and micro breweries
in France. Four in Paris and one each in Toulouse and
Bordeaux.
Each
pub has its own identity, serves home made food and shows
the full range of televised sports expected by an expat
crowd. Beers brewed on-site range from lagers to stout,
bitters and fruit beers. The weekends feature DJs and
other occassions involve party nights, quizzes and darts.
The
chain are often looking for bar staff and waiters or waitresses
for shift work, including weekends, and offer subsidised
food and drink alongside the pay, which FrogPubs say is
competitive with similar jobs in Paris. Other positions
include pub managers, shift managers and brewers.
Applicants
must have fluent English and excellent French. Part of
the interview will be conducted in French and interviews
are held in France so only applicants living in France,
and willing to work a minimum of six months, should apply.
Further
Information
To apply, print out the application form at their website
and send it, along with a photo, directly to the pub in
which you wish to work.
