MBG was established in !981 in response to the "Brandt Commission Report". At its heart is a community link between Marlborough in Wiltshire and Gunjur in The Gambia. The friendship that underpins the link echoes the sentiments of The Brandt Report which encourages "understanding, commitment and solidarity between people and nations.

Work or Activities
We offer short or long term Voluntary placements within the local community of Gunjur. These can be in Education, Health or in the Community. All our volunteers stay with families in compounds. We send volunteers between the months of October to May. Our minimum volunteer period is 3 months. 

Qualifications
The minimum age is 18 years and volunteers must be of good health.

Gunjur, The Gambia.

Fees
£500 to cover all admin costs and Induction.

Further Information
Our Volunteers are asked to raise a total of £2600 this includes Fees to MBG Airfares, Hosting, Insurance Pocket Money, Medical Expenses and any Travelling.
