OM is an evangelical, indenomonational and international missionary agency working in over 100 countries. The kind of activities include working alongside local churches, evangelistic work, relief and development projects, youth and community work, etc. We offer both short-term (2 weeks - 3-4 months) and longer-term (6 months and upwards) opportunities.

Work or Activities
Too many opportunities to list in detail, but there are opportunities for Gap year students who share the ethos and vision of the organisation in countries such as South Africa, much of Europe, South & SE Asia, and also on board one of our ships, MV Doulos and MV Logos Hope.

Qualifications
No qualifications required, except that we do require references of the applicant's Christian convictions and character.

Application Details
Those joining for 6 months or longer can join in either August or January, with the application deadline about 3 months beforehand. Deadlines for those joining for shorter periods are normally 4-6 weeks prior to the event.

Further Information
Those joining for a few weeks or 2-3 months pay a fee & travel costs - the amount depends on the location & the length of time. Those joining longer are asked to raise financial support to cover their costs, which will also vary - typically £500-700 per month -with the support coming through donations to the organisation from their friends, churches, etc.
