Volunteer Action for Peace (VAP) is a UK based charity organisation which works towards creating and preserving international peace, justice and human solidarity for people and their communities. Through a range of working projects both in the United Kingdom and around the world, VAP provides volunteers with opportunities to work together with people from around the globe and in partnership with local groups to enhance and empower communities.

Work or Activities
We have currently available more than 1500 two-four weeks short term voluntary work projects and more than 350 two-twelve months medium/long term voluntary work projects in 80 countries worldwide.

No special skills required but applicants should be really motivated to volunteer.

If you are a UK resident aged between 18-30 there are further possibilities of free 6-12 months placements in Europe through the European Voluntary Service scheme.
