An expedition that starts in the fjord of Kvaenangen, paddling north to Jokelfjorden, to walk onto the ice cap of Oksfordjokeln. After crossing the ice cap, taking some peaks in on the way, the expedition descends to Nuvsvag for a chance to meet the local people before ending with a trip to mainland Europe's most northerly point.

A Canadian organisation that has agricultural placements in Norway of two or three months duration. Volunteers are integrated into a Norwegian family by taking part in all activities on the farm and in the home: feeding the animals, cleaning the stables, gardening, helping at harvest time, etc.

Mast International
The MAST Experience Abroad programme, from the University of Minnesota provides qualified individuals the opportunity to travel to Norway to gain practical hands on experience in agriculture, horticulture, agribusiness, forestry or related areas. This cross cultural experience living and working in another country helps young people develop a global perspective and a broader understanding of the world. Over 6000 trainees from more than 65 countries have participated in the MAST International programme. Applicants should be aged 18 to 30.

Twin Training & Travel
The Working Guest Norway programme last for between two and six months and involves either working in tourism or agriculture. Placements are available across the country. In return for working approximately 35 hours per week, you'll receive your accommodation and food plus weekly pocket money.
