Details:
Depending on your specialty, you can work at one of the major media companies in Ecuador as a reporter, editor, photographer, broadcaster, or graphic designer.

You'll work side-by-side with the regular staff, gathering stories, researching, taking photos, writing pieces, going into the field, and coming up with your own story ideas and projects. This internship offers a lot of versatility and the direction that the internship takes will depend partly on your initiative and interests.

Eligibility:
Journalism Students or professionals are strongly preferred. Interns need to have at least beginner's Spanish, since you will be in a Spanish speaking culture and work environment. Many interns choose to take Spanish lessons when they arrive in Ecuador, then begin the internship after a week of lessons.

Programme fees:

The programme fee covers airport pickup, in-country introduction, all meals, accommodation with a host family and 24 / 7 support.

Airfare, insurance, vaccines and extra sightseeing are NOT included.

Departure Dates:
Media / Journalism internships are offered all year round for one to six months. Start dates are up to the participant.
