African Regugee Development Center - Their are a number of, mostly skilled, volunteer roles available at this Refugee Education Center in Israel but they are particularly keen o encourage volunteers who have teaching experience or a background in early childhood education.
Alliance Nepal - Provide Nepali culture and training for foreign volunteers who wish to render their services to Nepal. They send trained volunteers to schools and communities to generate awareness regarding environmental issues, sanitation, income generating initiatives, teaching English and health care.
Asia Venture - An organisation that enables students to gain unpaid work experience with youth in Northern India and Nepal.

Global Vision International - A UK based organisation which sources volunteers to international charities, non-profits and research organisations. Since 1998 they have sent over 600 Volunteers on international internships, conservation expeditions and teaching placements. In addition to placing Volunteers they also provide funding for research equipment, professional staffing and training. At the time of writing GVI have projects in Nepal, among other place. Inter-Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE-UK) - ICYE-UK can place people aged 18 and over on self funded environmental projects in Nepal.
i to i International Projects Ltd - i-to-i Ventures are worthwhile voluntary projects that last from 4 to 24 weeks in India and Nepal. i-to-i projects are open to everyone aged 18 to 80 so as long as you have the enthusiasm and dedication, i-to-i can find the right project for you.
IVCS - A small registered charity running a scheme enabling anyone over 18 to visit development projects in India for voluntary work or general interest, for any period from 3 weeks to 6 months. The emphasis is on learning about development and a different way of life, but there are opportunities to join the work of the project for example by teaching conversational English, helping with everyday tasks, writing reports, painting murals, or arranging special activities for school children. Fees are reasonable, particularly for longer stays. No qualifications required except tact, patience and a willingness to learn and fit into a very different way of life.

Lha Charitable Trust - Lha is dedicated to providing essential resources to the displaced Tibetan community living in exile in McLeod Ganj, Upper Dharamsala, India. Managed by refugee Tibetans they provide free language and computer training, medical assistance, clothing, and clean water to the community. A wide array of volunteer opportunities is available for both skilled and unskilled individuals - most volunteers work directly with Lha, while others are placed throughout the community. They need, among others, Chinese, English and French tutors, graphic designers, photographers, journalists, medical professionals, web designers and human rights and legal professionals.
The Megiddo Expedition - If you have ever watched Omen (or read the Bible) you'll know that Megiddo is the place for the final battle of Armageddon. Information and an application form to join the dig is available.

Peace Brigades International - PBI has branches in 15 countries and recruits volunteers to act as international observers and to accompany local human rights activists in conflict areas. They began working in Guatemala in 1983 and have run projects in El Salvador and Sri Lanka.
