Case Study - Stewart Hardie's Story..
"I was 21 and spending my days working in an office in Sydney, living in the suburbs. Surely there was more to life than this. Long gone dreams of travelling and working overseas started to resurface - I had always wanted visit the UK and Europe to see the sights, but didn't have the money to pay for my 'world tour' up front and I didn't really want to do it on my own.
I heard about PGL from a friend and when I checked out their web-site it seemed like a great opportunity to establish a base overseas, earn some money and have a great time into the bargain working with kids.
I was placed at PGL's largest centre Boreatton Park as a group leader - looking after kids when they weren't whizzing down zip wires or jumping from the Leap of Faith. I got all the training I needed to help me do the job and made some of the best friends ever.
It was a real kick-start to my holiday adventures too - in the end a group of us from PGL went backpacking together."
