Live, Work & Travel in China

A huge and ancient land, China returns ten fold the efforts required to travel independently around the country. The end of the Silk Road, China has been attracting travellers drawn by trade for centuries. Modern travellers will find more than the Great Wall and the Terracotta Army. China offers distinctive ethnic tribes, nomads on horseback, fast growing modern cities and the Himalayan territory of Tibet. Those wishing to work will find great demand in their English language skills and, increasingly, as an au pair in China. Internships, in all sorts of sectors from film production to accountancy, are another growing sector for working travellers to explore.
