Live, Work & Travel in Norway

Map of NorwayThough Norway declined to join the EU, the country is part of the European Economic Area and EU citizens are entitled to live and work there with minimal restriction. Both wages and living costs are high in Norway and though finding work shouldn't be too difficult in theory, in practice the Norwegians can be a bit touchy about handing over their jobs to foreigners. The best prospects are for au pairs, farm work and those looking for jobs in the ski industry and tourism.
