Live, Work & Travel in Thailand

Thailand

Probably the most popular long haul destination, after Australia, for those taking a gap year, Thailand has a well deserved reputation for both the partying and cultural activities that attract those on a year out that few other countries can match. In addition the country is the gateway to the less developed countries of the region and has plenty of opportunities for those wishing to join volunteer projects or undertake voluntourism. A combination of affordabilty and quality of life make Chiang Mai, in the north, probably the World's number one destination for digital nomads.
