Work Arctic - The Dalton Highway, Alaska's arctic wilderness highway, stretches north from Fairbanks, traversing the Yukon River, the Arctic Circle, the Brooks Mountain Range, and the Arctic Coastal Plain, before terminating 500 miles later at the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Punctuating this arctic wilderness are Yukon River Camp, Coldfoot Camp and Deadhorse Camp where one of the draws for staff meeting the food and lodging needs of robust recreational travellers is the limited options to spend their wages. The summer season runs from May until the end of September. Despite temperatures as low as -45 Fahrenheit or colder, aurora season draws tourists in the winter, when staff should be available to work from November or January until the middle of May.
Big Sky Resort - Winter positions with this Montana mountain resort range include bellhop, nail technician, room attendant, kitchen manager and ski valet.
Omega - Each year, Omega welcome Seasonal Service Corps Members to help support their holistic studies learning experience on their 250 acre upstate New York campus. Volunteers serve up to 28 hours per week in exchange for three meals per day, a campsite and shared bathroom facilities. There’s also paid seasonal work.

Your exact role as a volunteer - whether it’s assisting teachers, leading an activity or designing a new programme to serve an unmet community need - will be determined by your passions and interests, experience working with kids, level of Spanish, and length of stay. Volunteers are primarily housed in their “jungle” house on the island of Bastimentos, a short water taxi ride away from Bocas Town.
