ATM street kids scam
ATM scams are common in many countries. We've heard from a friend that this one involves a street kid helpfully handing you a small note that you've 'dropped' and while you are distracted his friend, with perfect timing, grabs and runs away with the money you've just withdrawn from the cash slot.
Fill up the car
Keep up to date with petrol prices before crossing into France from Spain. As of June 2008, unleaded is over 25 cents cheaper per litre in Spain, while diesal is nearly 40 cents less. A list of European fuel prices is provided each month by the Irish AA
