Work Details
Worldwide Workers sources short term work for
people on a one year working holiday visa. The jobs
fall mainly into these categories: Hospitality (waiting/function
work, bar work, kitchen work etc), Sales (both door
to door and over the phone), Promotions, Tele-marketing,
Accounting, Nursing, Labour (including factory work).
We also get an assortment of jobs that are very
difficult to categorise such as dressing up as a
koala bear for a wildlife organisation and driving
a mini tourist train!.

To apply for any of these positions, you must first
become a member.

Fees
AU$99 for the Worldwide Pack which includes
3 elements: access to the Worldwide Workers jobs

Wages
Average hourly rates range from $12 - $28 depending
on level of skills and experience needed (the average
for a waiting or process position is about $14)

The Pack can be pre bought in the UK, Republic
of Ireland, Holland, Sweden, Germany, Norway and
Canada. Pre bought membership hold a work guarantee.

Work - Find work through our network of over 25
recruitment agencies and 250 private employers.
Travel - discount tours through Backpackers World.
Tax back - WHMs pay 29% tax. Once you've worked
in Oz for a while, you will be entitled to claim
some of your tax back. Get a free quote on
how much you're entitled to from our in-house tax
consultants.
Accommodation - we have a large accommodation board
where you can look for a place to stay or post a
notice for a room available (free of charge to Individuals)
Internet - high speed terminals at only $4.00 per
hour (free to WWW members)
Training - Some jobs will require certificates such
as the RSA for bar work, RCG if you're going to
work in a bar with Poker machines, Green card for
construction work and Health and Hygiene Cert for
working with food. We can organise all of
these courses for you. |
